A fine patron in line for food. I saw him on my way out of the restaurant.

wow stephen,
i'm impressed with yr blogula. the reason i like this so much is cause it reminds me of one of those wild kingdom nature show host programs. "here, we're hunting the wild older species cinemus patronis. His plumage is marvelous!"
awesome man. keep up the great work.

Love the pictures. Very nice. I assume you illustrate professionally? Because these are amazing pieces.

I think this is an amazing site. It's so random and quirky, and awesome. I just sort of stumbled onto your blog, and I'm impressed by the simplicity and brilliance of your lunch sketches. Keep up the excellent work.

Wow, this is such great stuff! It reminds me of something -- A few years ago I was all depressed, looking out the window of this place while I was eating my lunch. Then I noticed a guy sketching me in his black artisty-journal book. I was like, well, at least my sadness is giving him material. I kinda made me feel better. I let him draw for a little while, then when he looked up, I was staring straight at him. Busted! He was all sheepish.

Thanks for your words. Yes, I draw for a living. Although I wish I could just draw in my sketchbook all day, and someone would just pay me a salary, that would be great. Whenever you are drawing for someone else. it is never as rewarding and freeing. Oh well, must press on and do what it is I love.
